I just wanted to throw my two cents in about Western Union.
They are a ROYAL PAIN IN THE A$$ to use via the internet or phone. However I recently discovered just the opposite when doing it in person. Most grocery stores have Western Union forms at their front desk. Just fill out the form and give them the cash. The 16 year old, pimple-faced kid at the desk doesn't care who you're sending your money to.

That's right. Going to a Western Union location to pay money for meds is the only way to go. It has worked for me every time.

Their site seems to be down. Anyone know what's up with that? Thinking about giving them a try.

I used U2rx many months ago, as my first OP experience. I'd found it listed under int'l OPs with some positive feedback. My order did come through, though I found the clonazepam a little weak.
I don't see them listed anymore. Was the company blacklisted, or are they no longer in business?

Sent a couple emails last week asking about my ship date and or when i should recieve. I see that my western union money was paid to him but never recieved a conformation on shipment.

Should i be worried or is this normal. I see others have gotten shipment dates but he won't reply back. Kinda odd...

send a polite email to him reminding him of the order, and MTCN#, and ask the status. Are you using tap@fibertel.com.ar?

I sent him a detailed, courteous email regarding what I would be ordering.
Is he always very abrupt in his email replies or perhaps the staff working for him?
I asked a couple of questions as well and it would seem that if a customer is willing to shell out $180US (I'm in Canada so that's even more) and doing it through Western Union, which is always risky, that they would take the time to use basic email etiquette.

My reply was:

"o.k. But it will be $180US with shipping"

Nothing else. No "Dear Customer" or anything. I don't mean to be oversensitive, but when it's my first time purchase, that sort of thing can be reassuring.

Of course, then there are IOPS who are so kind and courteous but are just suave con men, and don't deliver in the end.

Biotran is a company whose abrupt style doesn't matter to me because he's willing to make the first step to earn a customer's trust, so from his actions he shows good faith, and he always pulls through. But he knows he has to gain our trust, so he's very generous with first time customers, and sending before payment and things like that. But what do I have to go on with Farmakos? You'd think they'd offer a little reassurance. It's just good business sense.

I'm thinking now I should place a much smaller order. If they're not willing to take the time to answer a couple of basic questions when I'm willing to make a large purchase, then maybe I should go elsewhere.

I have never ordered from Farmakos. This is just a comment regarding W U.... I would really dislike paying $35.00 extra to send $120.00 somewhere. That' just me.

I have placed about 7 or 8 orders with Farmakos over about 1 1/2 years and have never had a problem with Dr. A or Western Union. I always order small (under 180.00). And yes, Dr. A's emails are usually terse and to the point. Don't let this bother you, he's OK.

Everyone must understand that every international order is a risk, no matter who you are dealing with. Some are lucky and some are not. I don't know what determines this. I do know that I can, so far, trust Farmakos. And Western Union is painless, just don't use it online. Go to a local branch and order there.

Yes, that's just his way of communicating.
He's definitely not a con man. Don't take his "short on words" way personally.

Also, I have never paid $ 35.00 in western union fees ???
Not nearly that much ??!!
Again, just make sure u go to local grocery store, etc. U can't use western union online to pay him.

I don't know if this contradicts your figures or not but I used WU two days ago & it cost me $15 to wire $100 to the recipient.

My thought about Farmakos is that their prices are still reasonable, even after a recent price increase. So the WU charge still leaves me ahead of the game. I have only ordered from them once before but they DID deliver in a very timely fashion, unlike my experience with ourrxforless, which took an exceptionally long time to deliver, even by IOP standards.

Just my experience & opinion for what it's worth....

His English is very limited. I'm sure he reads well but writing is always the difficult part. It is not rudeness, it just takes more of his time to converse. So he keeps it simple. Best of luck and keep those reports coming in.

please would you keep the feedback coming on this IOP? i have had great service from these guys in the past and was very suprised to hear negative feedback just before i was getting ready to order. my last dealings with them where great about two months ago. i hope dr. alberti isn't going the way of many other IOPs. any ideas or confirmations of deliveries would be greatly appreciated. i was just getting ready to go to western union and this is a real bummer.
