Flaming/Flame Wars: Flaming is reacting to posts or PM's in a hostile manner by publicly chastising the person or bombarding the person with nasty posts or PM's. Flaming may occur to users that engage in behavior that violates what is considered proper board netiquette. A flame war occurs when two or more users hit each other in an escalating manner that threatens to continue unabated. If you notice a flame war developing just notify the moderator or adminitrator and let them handle it. Do not take part in flame wars. If you do you will be banned even if you did not start it :-)
I just received my first L.L from canada customs. It simply states they have confiscated my meds, and I have 60 days to dispute it. Does anyone have experience with LL's from canada? Is my mail gunna be watched? If I get a reship, will customs keep it and add it to the quantity of my other order, and get me in more trouble? Any info will be appreciated.
I'm in Canada and have received several confiscation letters from customs. Just ignore them and write off the loss to experience. They are way too busy to keep track of everything they confiscate, so don't worry about ending up on some sort of blacklist.
Hmm..it sure seems to me like canadian customs scrutinize stuff more than some others. Maybe it has something to do with them having more time on their hands than the americans.
Absolutely ignore it. This is a case where "ignore it and it will go away" seems to work. I've often had no shows and have received two LL's. I did nothing about them and nothing has happened, and I'm still able to receive orders.
This reminds me of a friend of mine who's a cigar enthusiast and has ordered Cubans. He never spends more than he can afford to lose, because it's an acknowledged risk among cigar smokers that they could get seized. Then again, once his order was doubled by accident, so he's been really lucky so far!
