I also get a lot of phone calls and sometimes they are foreign speaking. It does bother me that they have my cell phone. I always hang up.

*UPDATE*

Found out their MO. They will agree to a small trial order. Here is the response from them:

>> Sir ,
>> reply me.should i make the order of 30 pills in just $50 no extra
>> charge on top of that ?
>> you will get your pack by Fedex within 3 days.
>> with regards

Then once they receive the $50 payment they change their tune and say they can only send packages of 90 pills and you will need to pay the balance, that being hundreds of dollars. Don't know if phone vendors can be put on blacklist but these people should be taken down.

since reading this I did some searching...

http://www.pharmacysources.net/

they have a list of 999 meds down the side (incl Vicodin, Hydrocodone, Xanax, Valium, Codeine, Lorcet) but it looks like these might be the kids that are calling you... "dreamweaver for dummies"

I found MS Contin, Hydrocodone on another site... looks like an actual thai pharmacy with a smaller list of items and an "easier on the eyes" website
http://www.thaihealthanswer.com/

I also found Vicodin, Lortab, Norco, Lorcet, Xanax and Valium on http://www.[censored].com/ and a nice picture of a dying lady on the homepage who NEEDS the meds.. LMFAO

And this site looks better than all of them.. Professional.. and FULL of drugs.. http://www.[censored].com/

I also liked the FAQ section at http://qualitymedsing.com/faq.php

They have return policies.. take credit cards... the works....

All this being said.. does anyone have any experience with any of these sites? I am in mexico and I would hate to open the door to AK-47's after ordering from the wrong site..

please help...

I would hope that anyone who gets a random call offering to sell you meds without a F2F consult and actual medical need for meds is a scam. You will either get nothing, get fakes, or get in trouble. I would love to know who sold our numbers to these people.

Thanks Rgroo - I just received a call from that very number. I never answer any calls from numbers I don't recognize.

Exact same number and now I know. You have done a service.

That's my strategy - just don't answer. I don't get very many - just here and there, but I never answer.

It is annoying. To say the least. Yes, Dharma, I wonder that too, but I could make a good guess. CL.

This whole thing is just disgusting. When you are used to mansions - I guess one must keep that going, eh?

They bought it. Apparently if you order drugs from one online "pharmacy" then your personal information will be bought and sold just like the good old days of credit-default swaps.

Oh yea .... I remeber now ... they would call and ask a couple questions ... tell you to drink plenty of fluid and send your meds .... The good old days.

I guess I was just fortunate as far as who had my number ... I've never had a phone solicitation

I'm pretty sure it's the same scammers skimming contact info from basicmeds in my case. Got a call today from "Marshal" who sounded very polite and well spoken with a mild Indian accent.

Pharmacy Name was: usameds?
Phone number was: 321-926-6006

He also said he had great discounts - but the thing that got me was that he mentioned the exact order I had just placed from BM (but didn't mention BM). Has everyone getting these scam calls used basicmeds in the past?

I'm thinking about calling to toy with them and get some more info - guess they would start calling a lot more then, huh? Maybe that's a bad idea...

Well, I got another call from some type of scammer again today. Different "name" and number but sounded like the same dude. The phone number this time was: (347) 753-8076 and I'm pretty sure they said they were "usameds" again...

This time I did think to ask about payment type though and he gave some long story of excuses that eventually ended with we can only take WU at this time. At that point I said I'm not, nor will I ever be interested, "please take me off your list". I'm sure that counts for jack$, but we'll see.

I had a phone call several weeks ago, and like you PNW, I usually do not answer if I do not know who it is. But, for some reason I did answer this time. After discovering what it was, and after the sales person told me that I could get a particular medication, and that they ship COD, I went ahead and placed my order. I had no intention of paying for these meds as you can still get burned with a COD package not having what you think it has. So when FedEx Ground showed up a week later I politely declined and have not heard from this place since then.

Admin, just received a phone message from Madeline, offering to Fedex overnight Watson 10/325s or 10/500s. Phone #: 315-308-5470. Surprised they left a message, most don't.

I had a rash of phonecalls from Americans from Rk Pharmacy or something like that. Really pushing. Then some guy with an Indian accent from a 305 area code actually called, saying my name pleading please call, please call me. WTF? Now, most times if I don't answer and the machine comes on whoever it is hangs up without leaving a message. Except one company that I appreciate calling me, they do as a courtesy call, once a month reminding me to refill.

I guess I am a complete idiot I am embarressed to say! I knew it had to be too good to be true and I am too trusting of a person and always put too much faith in people! I always try to give people the benifit of the doubt.

When these guys kept calling me curiousity got the best of me. One of them said something that made me wonder. He said, Dr. Nancy Tice has approved you for a refill on your 10/325. Now, I remember her being one of the Dr.'s that had previously prescribed to me in the past and I was thinking how would they know that? They even knew the date that I had last ordered and the pharmacy it had come from. I asked about the face to face and the laws and they said as long as I had a Rx within the last two years that I was ok to order. Dangit. I should have know that didn't sound right. Especially when he told me I could order a 90 day supply at one time!!!

So I sent $450 via Western Union and guess what???? Today, none of the phone numbers are working! I could just cry! I actually got through to the guy this morning and he told me he had just got in to the office and he'd call me right back in 10 minutes, and after 1 hour I called back and all the phone numbers I had went straight to VM saying that extention I was dialing was busy and to leave a message!

I called WEstern Union to file a report but they told me I have to contact the local police since it went overseas to the Dominican Republic. So just call me a SUCKER! And right before Christmas too. I want to cry!

So just to update, I tried all day to get through and thier phones were down or whatever. At 6:30 am I get a phone call from my "sales agent" saying that sorry he didn't get back to me yesterday but there was bad weather and the phone lines were down. There was a mistake and instead of sending me one bottle they sent two. It is on hold waiting to be released but I have to give them more money, (but they will, of course give me a discount, since it was thier mistake) He says, just go to Western Union, and send another $200.00! We can release it and I can give you your tracking no. and you will recieve it at 1:00 today. Does this guy think I am that stupid? I'm really gonna send more money? I'm so floored. I said, I don't care what you have to do, just fix it and get me my package. I don't want to get caught with a million pills, are you joking? I'm not a pill popper and I don't wanna get nabbed for intent to sell. Just send me what I ordered in the first place! Supposedly They are gonna send it back and I will recieve something either Friday or Monday, but I am not holding my breathe. I've already written the money off and had a good cry about it!

Trin, Sorry you had to learn the hard way. Funny thing is, WHILE I'm reading your post (5 minutes ago) I get one (another) of the same calls. Just for S&G's I started reading off your second post to them. They hung up on me!!! Imagine that !! Sounds like CL (or his co-horts) are losing ground and running out of people to scam. They keep trying the same people.

They KEEP calling me and calling me. Last time they called I answered "FBI"...The twit just kept making me the offer. I don't think he even paid attention to how I answered.

FYI: In case anyone needs it. The tel# it came from was: New York 347-298-8993

Do you have one of those "air horns" like people blow at football games?
I've found that 30 seconds of that blown into the phone tends to slow down repeat callers.
You'll need ear plugs, however.

RESORTS! Congrats on your hard earned new status. Also, I got the same call about an hour ago. They said it was a doctor Carter. I never heard of a doctor Carter. Any idea where these people are getting our number? This is getting to be an information security issue. They have our info....I would love to know from where.

If i didn't have to pay per minute i would just answer and say "oh, just a second" and put the phone down and never come back. Or maybe we should start pranking them with soundboards? I might try that
