Muse. I know the heartbreak and I am crying now for Baby Boy. I too had horrible news yesterday morning, my husband found one of my cats "Cupcake" dead Sunday a.m. after she was hit by a car. I don't know you but I know there is a "you" out there somewhere who is also grieving for the loss of a dear cat. Not many people (except my husband and BFF) truly understand the pain of that loss. Now I too am down from 4 to 3 (not including our 2 dogs). My heart goes out to you and anyone who loses a pet, either from age, sickness or some terrible accident. Wish you the best. Square

I am so sorry about Cupcake. I know the pain and I am still hurting too. Baby Boy was one of those cats that was always around and he did not sleep much. He was afraid he would miss something.

I know it is much worse when they are hit by a car. It is a shock. My cat was failing and you had no warning.

I know what you are going through. I could not post for a day . I wanted to take my mind off the pain.

This morning I felt so empty not putting his food bowl down . He was always first in line.

I know it will get better. I hope you can realize that our cats are now safe and in a good place. I know the Rainbow Bridge has been posted here.

I always find comfort in writing a little eulogy about my cat and dating it. Somehow it helps.

Again I am so sorry. I have done a lot of crying. I still do break down. My boy died on Tuesday.

That damn flu last me 3 days. I'm still not all up to par. This wasn't even the H1N1. The flu is going to be very bad this year. Today, I can't seem to get enough water. I did sleep a lot those 3 days though. Without warning, I would start feeling so tired and next thing I knew I was out for hours. At least my head doesn't feel like it's going to blow up now. LOL

How do you know it was not H1N1 flu?

I think I had the flu last week. I always associated the flu with gastrointestinal upset. But H1N! isn't like that. More sore throat, body aches, etc. Oh, my gay dad is a Nurse Practitioner and he's the one that told me I probably had H1 N1. If so, it was easier than regular flu! I hate that!

That is what I heard too. A healthy person will be sick for about three days.

That flu vaccine came too late. I cannot help wondering if that live virus is spreading the flu. Then they said on The Doctors that there is mercury in the shots. I never get flu shots. I don't get flu either the kind with sore throat and fever.

I really don't know for sure. They say if you have the flu to stay home and not go to the doctor, so that is what I did. I have nothing to compare it to. All I know is that it was awful and I wouldn't wish it on anybody. I was fine one minute and down the next. That is how quick it came on. I know where I got it from though. When I went to the hospital last week for that epidural shot. Two days later, I'm down. It seems like I only stayed up maybe 2 hours max at a time.

It's really all Tiades fault. She started it.

Yikes, that's messed up in a way, Taz. I'm allergic to latex and eggs so some shots I can't take.

Oh I just don't want to go anywhere right now. When I broke my foot and was sitting in the ER, it was horrible, I rolled myself over to the far side away from everyone. They were passing out mask to people that were coughing their heads off, but weren't making people keep them on, some wouldn't.

I am allergic too. I cannot have certain scans because they use iodine as the dye . It seems they could come up with something else but they don't.

Mine was an epidural shot for my back. I have to do everything the doc wants me to do. Up until then the shots were the only thing I would not do and they kept throwing it in my face, so I did it.

They didn't work anyways. Go figure.

Must be a little different in Ohio.

I have 2 buddies on it...one for his back and the other for Fibro...both in pain clinics.

Taz The shot didn't work at all? How many have you had? I didn't want to take them either ... the first 2 didn't help. The 3rd was like a miracle.

Just the one. Did nothing for me but made my back worse than what it was before. One difference, where I was numb in my left leg, now it is pain. I wish I had the numbness back.

I won't let anyone give me shots in my spine unless it's for a c/s. They don't work or it's hard to find the right space. Talk about painful. I did get steroids injected into my shoulder before and after surgery. That didn't help a bit!

I was told my shot did not work because my spine was not aligned. I think it went in the wrong place.

Right after that injection my back started going out. I swear it did damage.
