I am VERY AFRAID that I will be in the position of being able to say, "I told you so" and that would be horrible. It would be one of the few times I would not enjoy being right.

I would much prefer to be wrong about what I think is going to happen than to be right.

A comment? "Whacked out" and "on something" was a brilliant comment. It was almost as brilliant at the football analogy.

If you all don't mined , I am going off topic and lighten things up a bit.

I went to the Dr. today , to have my ears flushed.

When I was done and heading up to the window to get my next appointment , I here all this yelling.

There is this fairly young looking black lady just cure-sing away at the receptionist.

I well F**ing kill you , you bit*h. You Mother f**er.

Well I am just WTF. The receptionist closes the window. You know the glass between the PT and the person at the front counter. And says to the Dr. Med assistant call the Police. She is threatening me.

By now the Dr. is standing beside me. Then this women starts punching on the glass. I mean hard. I thought her hand was come right on Thur.

She is still yelling every curse word you can think of.

Call the F**king police . I am going home and get my man to come up her and whip your A*s.

People all ways say , go ahead and call the police , but never stick around.

When she got out side there is a window in the waiting room and she started hitting that to.

My wife was waiting for me in the waiting room. When I get out of there , my wife said the woman came in and said , some one had stolen her drugs. They had Brock in her house and took every thing in her home.

The Dr had said she would need a police report. So she calls the police there in front of the receptionist. WTF , if some one brakes in your home , would you not call the police as soon as you found out. She had a cell phone, she wood have called them from home, right!

Well , we all know the drugs had to be Pain Meds!!

Of course I here the Dr. say he well no longer see her.

I think she had taken all her meds and was in bad W/D and she was going to get her drugs or kill some one.

Ok , I know off topic but that made my day.

Hi Roch. The 35 Czars , There is so much going on. Not since the 1930 have we been in such a shape. I would need help to. You can't except him to try to mange 2 wars failing banks, home foreclosures, the auto industry in bankruptcy , no jobs , WTF. It was the auto makers begging for the help. What do you want to do , just give them money , no strings attached. The first part of the stimulus was already a done deal by GWB. The second part , I dont think the president had a choice. If he did nothing , you would be bit*hing about that.

Roch , you know were buds. But no matter what that man does , it well never be good enough.

If the R said a word about lowering property taxes he will not be reelected next time either unless a full and meaningful recovery happens in time.
I really wouldn't call this one a win for the GOP. It's just the world we live in now talking and I don't think it has anything to do with Obama.
To many promises, too much corruption is what caused the change.
Why everyone is measuring this as loss to Obama is just strange to me. When I lived there the focus always was on the state of their state.
They do have some of the nicest schools in the middle class neighborhoods I can tell you and they have to be paid for. Nice middle class roads to with curbs smile and sewers that flow right. The houses are just huge and the taxes are high for little to no land.
Everyone I know and grew up with moved out of that state due to cost of living to raise their families.
That state has a cycle. NY moves down, NJ residents coming of age move south or out of the state to live since it's a lot cheaper.
Central NJ and up is considered a NY suburb for at least the past 45 years.
This means if NY recovers so does a lot of NJ.
K

It is important because Christie is from Morris County and he worked for Bush as a Federal Prosecutor. Morris is generally more conservative than other counties and out of the orbit of the traditional political bosses. I lived in NJ for a very long time also. It is a very corrupt state with several corrupt political organizations, all Democrat (Union County, Ridgewood, Bergen, Hudson (the worst), South Jersey - remember Jim Florio?) that have run the state, with the unions, for decades. The citizens (taxpayers) have finally had enough. I actually can praise Obama for not stealing this election since he had political machines (and even more nefarious people) at his disposal.

Yes, governing is gonna be hard. There has to be growth. Therefore construction is gonna be very important. They better do away with the Highlands act. Remember that Corzine recently said "My program is Obama's program". He was right, he had a low growth, income redistribution, high tax strategy. Christie has to keep the rich in the state and get them to finance new construction or he'll be gone. I can see Corey Booker of Newark taking a shot next time. He will also have no room for corruption, all of the major papers are Democrat and already itching to take him down.

The house can't push through crappola but what about the senate?

Tigs NY's 23rd District. Hey, Hoffman running as conservative carried 46%, and Scozzi running as Republican carried 5%. Combined, they carried 51%, a majority of voters.
Not such a great victory for the democrat, especially since Scozzi endorsed Owens when she withdrew

Not if you watch MSDNC and that fat, slobbering idiot Chris Matthews. He spun this like it was the most important race since Lincoln won. He also had the balls to insinuate that the White House took responsibility for the Gubenatorial losses (which is BS) when the headline was "Obama not looking at election returns". It wasn't until MSDNC pointed out how shabby it looked did Axelrod wax his moustache and go on the shows and do the spin.

Football Coach analogy?

Quite honestly, I think the analogy is just perfect. Our City has a losing football team, and every Monday the Coach goes on T.V. and tries to tell the public as to Why. You sound just like it when you explain why some of your democrats lost in this election. It is quite funny..... I like to hear your reasonings. They are so inventive.
