Taking the plunge with eclinicmd and their Portland Doctor. Tired of waiting for one in WA. Will post results. Would be nice if someone would share their experience. Can't believe no one has used them.

Do a search, you'll find some feedback. I started to use the service then realized my records were a bit over a year old. I'd already paid the fee but they refunded my money completely no questions asked. I was impressed by that.

I'm in Oregon but eclinicmd charges $285.00 initial visit. Then $185 for a refill aka telephone consult. Why they don't give 2 refills #30 ct on the first visit then 2 refills #30ct for the phone consult considering the amount of money they charge is beyond me. This does NOT include the price for the medication. Too expensive IMO. I'm only interested in Sch IV.
Here's the scoop. Went well (over all). Very nice Dr. I had good records so pretty much gave me my request (#120). Didn't know though that he has to fax script to pharmacy in Florida. A little disappointed on that one. So now I'm trying to get info on how they are shipping etc. so I get it to the correct address. So have to wait till tomorrow to call someone. I have to request a phone consult every month for refills. Ya, gonna get a little pricey.
No, Washington. That's why they send it to their Wa licensed pharm in Florida, so they say. Consult Thursday, called them twice today to see when it will ship. No call back.

So I guess you did not go to the Portland Doctor but drove to Seattle?

I have been using Eclinicmd since May and all has went well, except that the doctor I saw has just moved to CA and now I have to start over with a their new one, bummer! I live in OR, the scripts have just been given to me and not sent to Florida. At least they are reducing the cost of the F2F since it has not been a year yet.
I really would like to find a doctor directly instead of going the OCS route. Problem is, the costs of starting over with all the tests, visits, etc. will be higher than just going for refill with the OCS.

SheBee, it wasn't the Dr in Portland was it?
Any one know when or if they're going to start a prescription monitoring program in Oregon? I think I should def not pay cash for my next rx. I have a broken hand that was finally put into a cast and I got pain meds and they had an alert on my account about narcotics. I got my last opiate script from F2F at a different pharmacy, but they charged my insurance anyway. Idiots. Next time I'll go in and take care of it. I filled my alprazolam and trazadone at my regular pharmacy w/ insurance. Ideas? Help!

What about those who have paid for the initial F2F and now should be getting reconsults? Can we still get reconsults with a different doctor or do they expect us to pay the whole F2F amount all over again with another doctor?

What a deal these places have going. It's hard to say why the docs don't stick around but it seems like no one is getting all their refills.
There is another service that is supposed to have a doc in OR by the end of the month (and they have one in WA now) but I can't pay $299 for an initial F2F and then $199 a month just to get a refill. It's a complete rip-off. They were another company before RH and were quite reasonable. I guess these companies are trying to take in as much as they can before the Govt. finds a way to shut them down.

I, too, went to the first Portland Doc and then to his replacement, and was very happy with the whole experience. BUT my phone consult was scheduled for yesterday...was never called...refunded this morning and told the doc was not working with the service at this time and apologized for missing me with the notification email. So today I am up the proverbial creek with just two days meds left. If anyone knows any service providing docs in Oregon or Washington that will take patients from Oregon, could you share your information? Thank you.

Its not hard to say why at all. It is because of selfish crooked folks who abuse and misuse the system and the meds and get the government sniffing around the doctors. Of course the doctors back away as if from the plague. Wouldn't you? There are scum out there who try to play around the system and double dip and misuse the meds and mess it up for all of us legitimate patients.

alliedmedicalservice.com They have a doctor in WA but he/she only serves WA residents. They are supposed to have a doc in OR soon - but I wouldn't hold my head underwater waiting.
