I ccannot find anything in Nashville doesn't say there isn't on but www.eclinicmd.com does have a Doctor in Memphis. It a little bit of a drive but you get you scripts filled locally until you next F2F a from now.

Has anyone any information about how the F2F is going in TN? Any stories about Dr's, Insurance etc?
I'd love to hear about it since TN has had such a history of problems with this.
Go for it. Post and share!

I have lived in East TN for 15 years and the doctors here are very tight about prescribing meds for pain.

I see a doc in Memphis, specializes in pain and addiction. Problem is, he is so through and sees so many patients at the hospital, that his appointments often run 6-7 hours behind, no joke. I've been ther until midnight with him before and one in the waiting room. He's not afraid to prescribe what you need, but he does like to see prgress on your treatment plan.

I too have seen a Doc that was way behind. My appointment was for 1pm then I was told there would be a delay and to come back at 4.Ended up not seeing him til around 6:30.I was just aggravated with the whole wait, but guess it paid off as I was prescribed good meds for my chronic pain.

It can be a big hassle and a long drive, but can be a good experience in the end.Just have patience is all I can say.

Hope this is not a no-no.

I am aware of a particular doctor in Lexington TN(halfway between Memphis and Nashville) who is pretty darn loose with pain med and benzo prescriptions. Not sure if I am allowed( or should) give his name. The office visit ranges from 65-90 bucks. He LIKES to have past med records, but...I have a friend who gets 2 40 mg slow release per day as well as 2 20mg oxycodone for breakthrough pain per day. Know his pain is bad, but not that bad. This doc is open to discussing pain treatment(several people have mentioned how "NICE" and "understanding" he is about pain and ADD meds as well as benzos.

Are there any relatively liberal doctors in SW Georgia? They basically had a handfull who were generous but not dangerously so, until a couple of them died. You just do not mix oxycodone with sexual-performance drugs in the wrong patients!

I drove to FL for a while because I couldn't find Pain Man. in TN. I have talked to several people and I have finally found a good Dr in East TN. I know of 4 Dr's right now that have good PM programs. All of which do not take insurance. The Dr that I chose to go with gives me the same amount of Meds that I was getting in FL but he is very expensive and there are constant drug tests. IF you are just a junkie then this would not work for you but if you truly have pain and have the records to prove it then you will be taken very good care of. I am not sure if I can post them on here or not and I don't want to break the Rules and be banned or anything for trying to help someone out. I have seen it done before. Just PM me if you need any of the info. I looked for almost 3 years to find the clinics that actually care and want you to have a rain free life.

Im getting a little worried about Linda, you're not the only one to ask me about her today. I actually heard from her yesterday and sent my order in this a.m, emailed her for a confirmation and am still waiting on a reply from her.

Do you live in TN?

I tried to pm you the info but I am not allowed to do that yet. I guess it is because I rarely post anything. I just mostly read about what is going on and hardly ever say anything. I know of a clinic in Knoxville, Maryville, and Sevierville. All of them require MRI and pharm report or bottles. I go to the one in Sevierville. The only bad part about him is that it is very expensive but he is a good Dr. He worked with another Dr here in town for years and wouldn't hardly write pain meds because of the other Dr not liking it. Now he just opened his new clinic for pain and stress management, as long as you have some documentation you are good to go. The one in Knoxville also has good care and very affordable but you have to go through a little more to get in. As for the one in Maryville when you call them they tell you that they are no longer taking new patients but if you go up there and show them your records and pharm printout they will make you an appointment and most of the time it is for that day or the next. All of these places have so many phone calls a day from junkies just wanting pills for recreation. If you can give me a way to contact you with more details I would be glad to do so because I hate seeing anyone in Pain because I went trough it for so long and I don't wish it on anyone. I hope this helps. Sorry for such a long post but I am really not sure what I can and cannot post on here without getting breaking Rules or anything.
